medriving is about providing
you, the learner, with everything that you need to pass the test quickly and
confidently.
As much as we enjoy teaching
we recognise that a key objective for every learner driver is to be one for
no longer than is necessary.
Our ADIs (Approved Driving
Instructors) are trained to deliver you to the DSA practical test ready to, and confident of passing, through intelligent, flexible and clear instruction.
Our core objectives are to teach you the way you best learn, and to
train you in the very best and most proficient driving techniques and routines.
In the latter half of your
course, medriving will take you through anything between 5 and 10 rigorous, DSA
standard, mock tests coupled with extensive test route practice, so that when
you take the actual test you will have the confidence you need to pass.
A word about the big driving schools:
…they are big.
Driving instructors at the big driving schools (you know who we mean)
are self-employed franchise holders – individuals who are not compelled to teach
in any particular way or to any particular standard. So at the big driving schools
you may get a great instructor…or you may not. And because they are so big it
is very difficult to filter out poorer instructors. At the bigger schools individual
driving instructor pass-rates can vary from 80% to as little as 10% (believe us, we
know). And how will you or any new beginner know the difference?
Driving instructors at medriving are chosen – not just hired. We’d rather be
small and tightly run than big and flabby in places. At medriving we are
dedicated to offering experienced, sensitive, focussed instruction of the very
best driving and manoeuvre techniques known in the industry.
And we are committed to
delivering our driving instruction, professionally, punctually, in clean, modern, power
steered and air-conditioned vehicles (that look nice too).
Last year our driving instructors, on
average took one pupil to test per working week (48 per year ave.) and achieved
an overall pass rate of 75.0% which is approaching twice the national average!
Driving instruction is a
skill. It is our skill.
