Courses & Prices
Our training cars are smart, modern hatchbacks fitted with dual controls, power steering, air conditioning, air bags and anti-lock breaking systems (ABS).
Choosing a course that suits you, thankfully, isn’t too complicated but you will need to consider a few things such as how much time you intend to dedicate to practise, when you ideally want to be taking your practical test and the cost of lessons. Another important question is how many lessons it will take you to be ready for your practical test. Whilst there is no way of determining this precisely, after your first lesson your instructor will be able to give you an educated opinion. It may be a good idea to hold off any commitment, particularly to an intensive course, until then.*
We normally conduct full one-and-a-half-hour long lessons but can do longer or shorter lessons if it’s suitable. We generally recommend one-and-a-half-hour long lessons recognising that two hours can be too long for some to concentrate after a work or school day, and one hour often feels too brief. Having said this we do recommend two-hour lessons in the very early stages of learning and occasionally promote one-hour lessons as a useful format – perhaps for test-ready pupils with very limited practise time. We will pick you up from home, school or work.** Our pupils do not share lessons with other pupils or pick them up on route. Lessons finish at home, school or work.**
