are smart, modern hatchbacks fitted with dual controls, power steering, air
conditioning, air bags and anti-lock breaking systems (ABS).
Courses
Choosing a course
that suits you, thankfully, isn’t too complicated but you will need to consider a
few things such as how much time you intend to dedicate to practise, when you
ideally want to be taking your practical test and the cost of lessons. Another
important question is how many lessons it will take you to be ready for your
practical test. Whilst there is no way of determining this precisely, after
your first lesson your instructor will be able to give you an educated opinion.
It may be a good idea to hold off any commitment, particularly to an intensive
course, until then.*
Standard Lessons
We conduct full one-
or two-hour long lessons, picking our pupils up from home, school or work.**
Our pupils do not share lessons with other pupils or pick them up on route. Lessons
finish at home, school or work.** We generally recommend two-hour
lessons – particularly in the early stages of learning – and promote the
one-hour lesson as a useful format after about week nine (see how we teach) when most
of the basics have been covered. A one-hour lesson may also be a necessary option
if you have time limitations.
Intensive Courses
We offer
intensive courses lasting between 10 and 60 hours increasing in multiples of
five. Typical course suitabilities are indicated below:
